Kron (tam kaplama) nedir ve niçin kullanılır?

Hasarlı bir dişi yeniden eski haline getirmek için dişe uygulanan bir kaplamadır. Amacı dişi güzelleştirmek, sağlamlaştırmak ve korumaktır. Kuron aşağıdaki durumlarda yapılabilir,

Zayıf dişlerin kırılmasını önlemek için,

Bir diş implantına üst yapı olarak,

Kırık, şekli bozuk veya renklenmiş dişleri kaplamak için.

Kron kaplamalar için en uygun malzeme hangisidir?

Sizin için en uygun malzemeyi seçerken, hem görüntü hem de işlev göz önünde bulundurulur. Diş hekiminiz; diş yerleşimi, dişeti dokusunun konumu, gülümsediğinizde görünen dişlerinizin miktarı, dişlerinizdeki renklenmeler ve dişlerinin fonksiyonlarını değerlendirip bu konuda bir karara varacaktır. Kuronlar çeşitli malzemelerden yapılabilir. Bunlar; altın veya daha değersiz alaşımlar, porselen (seramik), akrilik, kompozit veya tüm bunların bir kombinasyonu olabilir.

Bir kron nasıl yerleştirilir?

Kronlama işlemi birkaç adımda yapılır. Diş hekiminiz, gerektiği şekilde dişiniz üzerinde hazırlık yapar, çürük kısımları varsa temizlenir ve dişin tam bir modelinin elde edilebilmesi için ölçü alınır. Elde edilen modele göre kuronunuz son halini alacaktır. Kron tamamen hazır hale geldiğinde, diş hekiminiz gerekli ayarlamaları yaptıktan sonra yerine yerleştirecektir. Siz ve diş hekiminiz, görünüşünden ve konumundan memnun kaldıktan sonra kuron daimi olarak yapıştırılır.

Kronların bakımı nasıl yapılır?

Dişlerinizi günde iki defa fırçalamalı ve bir defa da diş ipi ile temizlemelisiniz. Bu temizleme işlemi, bakterilerden oluşan plakları ortadan kaldıracaktır. Bu konudaki en önemli nokta diş ve dişetinizin birleştiği bölgedeki (sulcus) plakların temizlenmesidir. Kuronların kırılmasını veya zarar görmesini önlemek için, sert yiyecek ve nesneleri çiğnemekten kaçınmak gerekir. Yine her durumda olduğu gibi diş hekiminizi rutin olarak ziyaret etmeniz, kuronların ömrünü uzatacaktır.
